Afterwards we have written inhabitat [dwells in] for habitat [dwells], from the manuscript of St Peter's, since this reading agrees better with what follows, Divinitatis inhabitatio corporalis [the bodily indwelling of the Godhead], and also with the reading of the cited Sermon 30, ch. 3.

In the Padolirone manuscript, Cui vera pax est in Dei voluntate, si non dubitet his solis quae, etc. [For whom true peace is in the will of God, if he does not hesitate in those things alone which, etc.]

In four codices and the first edition, "invenit" [finds]. We have retained the common reading, which we have found in other manuscripts, ancient ones too, because the confession of faith concerning Christ has indeed met with many contradictions, but fears none.

Quesnel added the word "solam" from the Corbie manuscript and the Gaudiival. [manuscript]. We have found the same in four of our manuscripts, and also in the first edition. Then Quesnel adopted "malesuadus", found by us in certain manuscripts and in the first edition. In other editions and in the manuscript of St Peter's "malesuasor" is read.
