So the manuscripts of St Peter's, with which the manuscripts of collections 1 and 2 agree. For they only omit the word nostra, which other manuscripts show and which the following word ipsius seems to require, in Leo's manner. Formerly there was read in the printed editions and some manuscripts: Sicut factus est Dominus caro nostra nascendo, ita et nos facti sumus ipsius renascendo. A little after, Spiritus Dei for Spiritus sancti is in some manuscripts.

The manuscripts of St Peter's and Bologna, and the first edition, veritas divina [the divine truth].
Synopsis.
Synopsis. — That through the incarnation of the Word the figures and promises were fulfilled.—II. That unless God became man, no remedy remained for man's wounds. — III. That Christ is true God and true man, free of original sin; the image of His Nativity is in baptism.— IV. That the Manichaeans, who deny that Christ was born bodily, are strangers to this.— V. That other heretics have something sound, the Manichaeans nothing that is not impious.— VI. That we must beware of their feigned piety, and hold fast to the unity of the faith, without which nothing is true.
